CAIR-DFW Condemns Distribution of Racist Flyers in Royse City
The Texas chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Texas), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed local law enforcement’s call for prosecutors in Tarrant County to treat the alleged murder attempt of a 3-year-old Muslim child in a public pool in Dallas as a hate crime.
Alleged attacker reportedly interrogated mother about her country of origin and her speaking to her children in a foreign language before jumping in swimming pool and allegedly trying to drown them.
The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-DFW), a chapter of the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today called on law enforcement authorities to investigate as a possible hate crime an image posted online apparently showing an individual bragging about urinating on a mosque sign.
